Norman Parkinson's Vintage Silver Prints

Actuellement exposé à la Chapel Row Gallery à Bath, Norman Parkinson fut photographe pour Vogue (UK et US) pendant presque 20 ans, ainsi que pour Queen magazine dont il est devenu éditeur associé en 1960.

Cette exposition présente une sélection de photos de Parkinson prises entre les années 50 et 64, toutes issues des archives d'Angela Williams, qui fut sa collaboratrice dans les années 60.

Ses cadrages étonnants, cette manière de photographier les femmes dans une simplicité élégante, de mettre en lumière leur beauté naturelle ont fait le succés et l'immmense carrière de Parkinson.
