Corner View - Books

This week Jane's Corner View theme is Books.

I'm taking this opportunity to present you the incredible artwork of Su Blackwell, an english artist I really love!

Fairy tales literally emerge from the books, with strange and fragile scenery, enchanted forests, butterflies escaping from the pages, as if the story was taking shape... A wonderful universe, a work in many volumes!

Su Blackwell - Edinburgh Show

Her paper sculptures are actually presented in Scotland at the Edinburgh Show until the 24th of December 2009, and also in the great exhition "Slash: Paper Under the Knife" at the Museum of Art and Design, New York until the 4th of April 2010.

Su Blackwell - The Lake and the Boat
